The Opportunity
 
Reporting to the President and CEO, this is a high-impact role which cuts through to being the custodian for providing customer focused and data-driven insights, while fostering long-term client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our key customers in the CPG sector. You will leverage your expertise in category management and customer management to drive meaningful insights and deliver value to our clients. Someone who is a self-starter and possesses great attention to detail and a strong knack of numbers, this role would translate into a key player within the BI space.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with senior management teams on the retail and vendor side to leverage insights and analytics to identify business trends as well as make strategic business recommendations.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Overseeing the successful execution of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Managing the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of Analyticsmart's solutions, keeping customer experience at par.
  • Managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet customer expectations.
  • Utilizing deep understanding of category management to provide insights that drive business growth for our customers.
  • Tracking documentation and prioritization of requests for the BI Team.
  • Translating complex data into actionable insights that are easy for customers to implement and drive measurable results.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met and to develop strategies that align with their business objectives.
  • Preparing regular reports on performance and insights and presenting findings to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Developing strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts to expand business and increase revenue, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrating Analyticsmart as a valued partner through the services and software solutions.
  • Leading and supporting the team in developing tools, dashboards, and processes to manage programs.
Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience into Category management, with a strong track record of managing and growing customer relationships.
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous Account management experience with major Canadian or American Retailers
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools and software, with a preference for experience in Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian and American Retail & manufacturing Channels.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence customers and internal business Partners with data-driven insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and drive results through collaboration and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a very fast paced environment.
  • Experience in meeting strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working in ambiguous and challenging situations.
